This item replaces the OEM plastic tailgate hinge bushings that are notorious for breaking with a precision machined billet aluminum bushing guaranteeing you will never have to worry about breaking and replacing another bushing.
To install, simply remove your plastic bushing or any remaining pieces of it, slide this bushing in, and reinstall your tailgate like normal.
