This kit is for "both" the left and right side. (Sold as a pair)
Precision laser cut from 3/16" Aluminum, these brackets are heavy duty, guaranteed not to rust, and have an extra durable finish being powder coated John Deere Green.
The black "flap" itself is precision machined out out 3/16" UHMW. For those unfamiliar with this material, it is an ultra wear resistant, slippery plastic. Often used on snow plows for a upgraded wear bar.
Installation time: 30 minutes
Requirements: This kit mounts to the loader arm posts as shown in the picture. You MUST have these on your tractor for this product to work.
This kit is compatible with the loader attachment and the mower deck. It does not interfere with removing / installing the loader or the mower deck if installed correctly.
This kit is versatile in how it can be mounted / adjusted. When mounted as pictured, the slots allow for 3 inches of adjustment in both the horizontal and vertical directions as well as being able to rotate a little bit for the perfect placement before tightening down. The angle at which these mud flaps sit is also adjustable at the pivot point.
For those wanting it to sit lower than pictured, the black mud flap part can be flipped over and mounted upside down. This will cause it to interfere with installing / removing a driver over mower deck though.
To install, loosely put together the mud flap. Remove the loader. Loosen the 3 loader arm bolts. Slide the mud flap in place. tighten the 3 bolts on the loader arm. Then adjust the mud flap to the desired position and tighten all the hardware.
